Day 1: Maun – Moremi Game Reserve
On the first day of your Okavango Delta Explorer Safari, you will be picked up from Maun and driven to Moremi Game Reserve. The drive will take about 3 hours with a short stopover in the village of Serobe for any last-minute supplies. Once you arrive at Moremi Game Reserve, you will embark on a game drive, in search of wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes. After the game drive, you will be taken to your campsite where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Moremi Game Reserve
On the second day, you will wake up early for a morning game drive to explore Moremi Game Reserve. You will have the opportunity to spot predators such as lions, hyenas, and leopards during their active hunting hours. After the morning game drive, you will return to the campsite for breakfast and a short rest. Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a boat ride through the channels of the Okavango Delta, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.
Day 3: Moremi Game Reserve – Khwai Concession
On the third day, you will depart from Moremi Game Reserve and head to Khwai Concession. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes. Upon arrival at the campsite, you will have lunch, followed by a walking safari to explore the Khwai Concession. During the walking safari, you will be accompanied by a professional guide who will provide insights into the wildlife and vegetation of the area. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the campsite.
Day 4: Khwai Concession – Maun
On the final day of the Okavango Delta Explorer Safari, you will wake up early for a morning game drive to explore Khwai Concession. You will have the opportunity to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and wild dogs during their active hunting hours. After the morning game drive, you will return to the campsite for breakfast and then depart for Maun, where the safari will end.
